Why Donate?

The benefits you will receive by donating to The William D. Squires Educational Foundation, Inc. are numerous:

  • You will be rewarded with the satisfaction of helping students reach their dreams.

-Sometimes our scholarship allows students to attend their first choice instead of their second choice school.

-Sometimes our scholarship brings a ray of sunshine simply by allowing a student to share in the total college experience by living on campus and not commuting.

-Sometimes it means a few less work hours and more study time.

-$12,000 that doesn't have to be repaid will be even more meaningful after college as they graduate and enter their careers.

  •  Your donation to The Foundation will qualify as a charitable gift with tax benefits.

How to Donate

or how to help make dreams come true.....

If you would like to make a difference in a young person's life by donating to The William D. Squires Scholarship Program, please make your check payable and mail to:

The William D. Squires Educational Foundation, Inc.
P. O. Box 2940
Jupiter, FL  33468-2940

Please write "William D. Squires Scholarship Donation" on the memo section of your check.

Donations qualify as a charitable contribution.  Upon receipt of your donation, you will be mailed a thank you letter that will include the information you will need for your IRS tax return at the end of the year.  Donations may also be made through your will.

You may be curious why your donation qualifies as a charitable contribution.  The William D. Squires Educational Foundation, Inc. applied to the Internal Revenue Service and received status as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation or a tax-exempt private family foundation.  This IRS status qualifies donations to the Foundation as a charitable gift, and thus, donations have favorable tax consequences.

The Foundation only has one program. Because of this, all donations will go directly to support this scholarship program for students from Ohio.
